About El Inverso Productions

El Inverso Productions draws on the writing, videography, photography, editing, translation, and other talents of a small team of Portland-based artists whose intersectional queer and Latinx identities inform their vision of a creative and emotionally-fulfilling existence.

Announcing the Queer Lives Audio Archive

The creative team at El Inverso Productions is pleased to announce the launch of the Queer Lives Audio Archive (qlaa.elinverso.com), a dynamic and growing collection of oral histories, creative readings and other audio-based contributions by queer people of color from the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Visitors to the Queer Lives Audio Archive are invited to explore this mix of longer and shorter pieces and, when inspiration hits, to add their own voice to the mix using our online comment and upload tools.

The Queer Lives Audio Archive is supported by funding from SE Uplift and the Regional Arts & Culture Council. As always your donations are most welcome; donate at PayPal.me/elinversoproductions

Share How Masculinity Has Impacted You!

We can’t film live conversations right now but we’d love to keep the sharing going!

We’re inviting queer folks from around the world to send us reflections on how different manifestations of masculinity have shaped their life experiences.

Your contribution could be a poem, a letter, a copy of a photo with a caption, a drawing, a short story or anecdote… whatever it is, we’d like you to put it in an envelope and send it to us! Don’t send your only originals, however, because we won’t be able to return what we receive in the mail.

We will film some of our favorites for inclusion in the film project and perhaps reach out to some of you to record your voice online.

Send your contribution to:

El Inverso Productions, LLC operates in a city built on unceded traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River. We acknowledge and seek to help dismantle policies of genocide and assimilation that still impact many Indigenous communities.
